My sales experience sees me being highly skilled in customer service and sales administration processes, such as interpreting data to create meaningful, detailed marketing insights to refine strategy.
My responsibilities at Arlec not only make me a point of contact for Bunnings (our customer) but I collaborate with different departments within Arlec to ensure that all expectations around product launches and ideation are met. Currently I am responsible for driving 21 category reviews under the lighting category within 5 months. The range review process involves reviewing performance of current products in Bunnings store, liasing with product team to replace low-performing items with new and improved SKUs according to Bunnings feedback, proposing a new line plan, presenting all of the above to Bunnings Buying team in line with market insights and then facilitating new product creation once approved.
Sales & Product Coordination:
Supported National Accounts and General Sales Managers across the lighting category, managing product life cycles and ensuring creative alignment between design and sales.
Product Development Support:
Developed product landscapes, vision boards and sales decks for state managers, translating brand strategy and market insights into clear, sales-driven visuals.
Retail & Customer Management:
Served as the main liaison between Arlec and Bunnings, optimising retail execution and ensuring alignment between category plans, merchandising, and product development.
Logistics & Supply Chain:
Coordinated purchase orders and inventory flow from global suppliers, aligning stock levels with sales forecasts, factory MOQs and key promotional timelines.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partnered with design, purchasing and product teams to deliver cohesive brand execution across channels and maintain operational efficiency.
Data & Systems:
Managed product databases and internal systems, ensuring data accuracy to inform sales analytics, forecasting and reporting.
Whilst studying in university, I have worked as a retail sales assistant for 5 years with some of Australia's largest brands.
